Have you heard of Meet Up and Eat Up? 

Meet Up and Eat Up, also known as the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), is a valuable initiative that offers free nutritious meals to children up to the age of 18. It specifically targets children living in low-income areas, where 50 percent or more of the students qualify for free or reduced-price school meals.  

To find a nearby location, visit the Meet Up and Eat Up/SFSP Site Locator Map at  www.michigan.gov/meetupeatup . All site information, such as meal times and open days, is updated daily.

We had an incredible time connecting with you and providing valuable resources, free books, family fun, and engaging literacy stations. It was a joy to see everyone enjoy the event and make lasting memories together. Your participation made the day truly special. Join the Great Start Parent Coalition for our monthly meeting on Thursday, July 20th at 1:00pm on Zoom.

During this meeting, we will be diving into the topic of home-visiting family support. This service provides professionals, such as social workers, nurses, or early childhood educators, who offer support to families in their own homes or at a location where they feel most comfortable. It's a valuable resource for families in need of additional assistance in caring for their children.

Build your child's skills with Ages and Stages Activities from Help Me Grow Detroit-Wayne! Click the link below to find activities by age to help increase communication, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, problem solving and personal-social skills for children birth-5yrs old! If you have any concerns about your child's development, call or text Help Me Grow at 313-410-4588. We'll answer your questions and connect you to services that can help!

ASQ Activities 

This training aims to enhance understanding of the crucial role of early interaction with young children, starting from birth. Emphasizing key messaging, fostering skill development, and recognizing adults for their existing knowledge and efforts are essential components of the Detroit/Wayne County Talking is Teaching: Talk, Read, Sing Community Campaign.
